Intelligent hydraulic energy storage system

This paper proposes a novel hydraulic energy storage component (NHESC) that integrates hybrid energy storage through the use of compressed air and electric energy. The system configuration of the NHESC is first designed, followed by the modeling of key components and analysis of working states. This paper analyzes the 89 research works of different intelligent techniques integrated into RESs and energy storage systems (ESSs). The intelligent techniques are classified according to the considered resources, such as PV, wind, biogas, and hydropower to demonstrate a meaningful insight into the particular research field.
